1. Our current approach
Bastion uses strictly necessary technologies to deliver and secure the site. With your permission, we also use PostHog analytics and privacy-masked session replay to understand visits, navigation, traffic sources, repeat visits, and problems encountered while using the site or its forms. We do not use advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking cookies.
PostHog does not load and analytics storage is not created unless you select “Accept Analytics”. Selecting “Decline / Necessary Only” does not affect access to the site or either enquiry form. The “Analytics settings” button opens the same two choices so that you can change your decision at any time.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files saved by a website or service in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, scripts, and device identifiers. They can support essential functions, remember choices, measure use, or support advertising. Bastion uses optional measurement technologies only after consent and does not use them for targeted advertising.
3. Technologies that may be used
On a smaller screen, swipe horizontally or focus the table and use the Left and Right Arrow keys to see every column.
| Name / provider | Purpose and category | When and how long |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog analytics storage PostHog EU Cloud | Optional analytics and session replay. Measures page visits, navigation, clicks, traffic attribution, form interaction stages, errors, and repeat visits. All form input values are masked, request and response bodies are not recorded, and we do not send form entries as analytics properties. | Created only after consent. Browser identifiers and the consent choice remain until they expire, are cleared, or you withdraw consent. The project is configured with a 12-month event-retention setting; effective provider-level deletion also follows applicable account settings and terms. |
__cf_bmCloudflare | Strictly necessary bot detection, traffic management, and protection from malicious requests. It does not correspond to a user ID in Bastion’s application. | May be set when Cloudflare bot protection is active. Expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. |
Infrastructure providers may also set a short-lived security or challenge cookie if traffic appears automated or risky. The exact cookie can depend on the security challenge presented. We use these technologies only to provide or secure a feature requested by the visitor.
4. Managing cookies
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking a strictly necessary cookie may prevent the site or form from working correctly. Browser instructions are generally available in the browser’s privacy or security settings.
Use to accept PostHog analytics or choose necessary technologies only at any time. The settings window provides two equally available choices: “Accept Analytics” and “Decline / Necessary Only”. The analytics configuration also respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting. We do not use advertising or targeted-advertising cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains how browser signals relate to data sale, sharing, and targeted advertising.

6. Changes and contact
We will update this table if the site’s technologies change. We review the site after material hosting, form, analytics, advertising, or embedded-content changes. Questions may be sent to privacy@getbastion.cc.
